Acting as the data controller under Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), we hereby inform you that your personal data may be collected through automated or non-automated methods via our website, call center, or through oral, written, or electronic declarations.
Legal Grounds and Methods of Collection Your data is collected lawfully within the framework of Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, based on legal grounds including Law No. 6698, Basic Law on Health Services No. 3359, Decree Law No. 663 on the Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Health and its Affiliates, the Regulation on the Processing and Privacy of Personal Health Data, and Ministry of Health regulations. As stated in Article 6, Paragraph 3 of the Law, personal data regarding health and sexual life may be processed without explicit consent by persons under an obligation of confidentiality or authorized institutions for purposes such as protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment, and the planning of health services.
Your Rights Under KVKK As a data subject, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
The right to learn whether your personal data is being processed.
The right to request information if your personal data has been processed.
The right to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly.
The right to know the third parties to whom data is transferred, domestically or abroad.
The right to request rectification of incomplete or incorrectly processed data.
The right to demand the erasure or destruction of data under the conditions set forth in KVKK legislation.
The right to request that third parties to whom data was transferred are notified of any rectifications, erasures, or destructions.
The right to claim compensation for damages arising from the unlawful processing of personal data.
Exemptions According to Article 28 of the KVKK, you may not assert these rights if data is processed for official statistics through anonymization, or for artistic, historical, or scientific purposes within the scope of freedom of expression—provided it does not violate national security, public safety, or privacy—or within the scope of preventive, protective, and intelligence activities carried out by authorized public institutions, or by judicial authorities regarding investigation, prosecution, or trial proceedings.
